Billie Greene, 93, of Hot Springs, passed away peacefully and entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, January 27, 2023. She was born August 18, 1929 in Washita, AR.
She is predeceased by her husband, Harold Greene and her parents, Vernice and Rena (Smith) Tedford.
Billie is survived by her daughters, Janice (Mike) Flemming, and Danah Mead, both of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Greg (Adrienne) Flemming, of Jupitar, FL, Kellye (Brad) Carlton, of Fayetteville, AR, and Allyson (Brandon Clifford) Mead of Arlington, VA; and her sister Jean Campbell, of Ft. Smith, AR.
Billie truly loved being a homemaker and cooking was her love language. Billie’s pride and joy were her grandchildren. Billie also enjoyed gardening and canning, sewing and crossword puzzles.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Crestview Cemetery.
Pallbearers include, Greg Flemming, Brad Carlton, Junior Tedford, Scott Campbell, Phillip Campbell, and Garrett Campbell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Hot Springs.
