Olen Hurshel Loux, 90, of Hackett, AR, passed away Wednesday, January 1st, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was born December 8th, 1923 in Cabot, AR.

He was a former employee of Randall Ford. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hackett, Belle Point Masonic Lodge #20 and he was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a Veteran of World War II where her served in the Army Air Corps and was an Aviation Mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Loux, one son Steven Loux and stepson Eddie Best.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 4th, 2014, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 5711 Mt. Zion Road, Hackett, AR with Pastor Brian Williams officiating.
Burial with Military Honors will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife Reba Loux, four daughters Betty Crawford of Owasso, OK, Sandra Crow and husband Roger of Fort Smith, AR, Debra Madison and husband Alan of Van Buren, AR and Stacey Kaufman of Greenwood, AR, one stepson Rickey Best of Montgomery, AL, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Damon Sadler, Mike Flint, Bill Dewey and Bob Griffith.
