Clifton Hawkins, age 95, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020. He was born September 11, 1924 in Perryville, the son of James Fuller Hawkins and Bessie Williams Hawkins. He was a WWII Army veteran, a welder with General Motors, and of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his wife, Lovie Edmonson Hawkins of Perryville; daughters, Rolanda (Keith) Brooks of Flint, Michigan, Lynnette (Ken) Colon of Grand Blanc, Michigan, and DeLisa (Darryl) Woolfolk of Alexandria, Virginia; stepson, Milton (Donna) Freeman of Perryville; stepdaughters, Terri (Elvin) Holland of Greenbrier and Trena (Jeff) Gault of Melbourne, Florida; eighteen grandchildren; twenty- three great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Belle Hawkins; stepdaughter, Sharon Hall; and grandchildren, Melodie Colon and Anthony Clifton Brooks.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at Harmony Cemetery with Bro. Tony Harris and Bro. John Chapman officiating.
