Tommy Virgil Bell, 92 of Magnolia, Arkansas died Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at his home in Magnolia.
He was born on November 6, 1927 in Smackover, Arkansas to the late John J. Bell and Aletha Mae (Thomas) Bell. He graduated from Calhoun High School, was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, and retired from Texaco/Chevron. He loved to fish and won numerous bass tournaments, but his greatest joy was playing bass guitar and entertaining residents in assisted living centers with a close group of friends.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey Pauline Bell; 2 daughters, Jackie Bell McWilliams and Teresa Bell Sapelli; grandson Greg Bell McWilliams; Step-son James Middleton; 2 brothers, Johnny Bell and Billy Bell; and 2 sisters, Maudie Bell Hammock and Margie Bell Welch.
Tommy is survived by his wife Pattie Sue (Dees) Bell of Magnolia; a brother Vernon Bell and wife Wanda of Magnolia; sister Jeannie Bell Hutchison of Bernice, Louisiana; two grandsons Scott McWilliams and wife Kelli, Jason McWilliams and wife Lauren; a granddaughter Anna Middleton; 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Antioch East Cemetery with Bro. Lyndell Chaffin officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. Magnolia. A guest book and viewing will be available at the funeral home on Thursday, June 18th from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice.
