Louise McWilliams 98 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at her home.
She was born on September 5, 1917 in Magnolia to the late Parson and Ruby (Bass) Story. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She worked in the fields alongside her husband as long as they were farmers. She did a lot of canning and delighted in cooking Sunday dinner as long as she was able and making a home for her family. She also worked for Shanhouse for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Smead McWilliams; a daughter Dorothy McWilliams; two sons in law Robert Willis and Billy Jean McWilliams; and eleven siblings.
Louise is survived by her daughter Venna Willis of Magnolia; son Don McWilliams and wife Lucy of Warren, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jennifer and Jarrod Harfield of Ohio, special granddaughter Sissy Thompson of Haynesville, Louisiana who took care of grandmother; Pam McWilliams of Haynesville, Kevin and Cindi McWilliams of Siloam Springs, Tommy and Nicole McWilliams of Magnolia, Rick McWilliams of Magnolia, Janet Green of Bryant; seven great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and three great great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Antioch East Cemetery with Bro. Jim Cross officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Life Touch Hospice, 2301 Champagnolle Road, El Dorado, Arkansas 71730.
Pallbearer will be Ricky McWilliams, Tommy McWilliams, Terry McWilliams, Mike McWilliams, Lynn Story and Eddie McGarr.
