Billy Ray Fowler, 69, of Alix, Arkansas, died Monday, August 10, 2015 in Clarksville, Arkansas.
He was born August 14, 1945 in Clarksville to Louis and Leona White Fowler.
He was a retired Industrial Insulator and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Amos and Joe Fowler, and a sister Peggy Johnson.
He is survived by his wife Judy Gean Fowler of Clarksville; three sons, David Fowler of Clarksville, Allen Fowler of Hartman, Arkansas, and Lance Fowler of Ozark, Arkansas; a daughter Renae Medlock also of Ozark; a sister, Anna Underwood of Mulberry, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 14, 2015 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with Brother Gaylen Williams officiating and burial at Houston Cemetery in Alix, under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Serving as pallbearers are Tyler Fowler, Gaylen Williams, Rick Mayfield, Bill Brandt, Scot Medlock, and Jimmy Gean; honorary pallbearers are Larry Shook, David, Lance, and Allen Fowler, Paul Gean, and Michael Aljassani.

Judith Lynn Fowler, 70, of Clarksville, Arkansas, died Saturday, October 5, 2019 in Russellville, Arkansas. She was a homemaker. She was born April 19, 1949 in Clarksville to Virgil and Helen Weishaupt Gean. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Billy Ray Fowler.
She is survived by three sons, David Lee Fowler of Clarksville, William Lance Fowler of Spiro, Oklahoma, and Allen Ray Fowler and wife Stacey of Hartman, Arkansas; a daughter, Renae Lynn Murphy and husband Johnnie of Hartman; three sisters, Virginia Lee Aljassani, Charlean Lucille Bates, and Bobbie Ann Gean; two brothers, James Lyle Gean and Paul Henry Gean; ten grandchildren, Tyler, Kalee, Kaycie, Brooke, Britt, Colby, Devehn, Khya, Braxton and Jaidyn; five great grandchildren; and best friend, Sharon Brandt.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Houston Cemetery in Alix, Arkansas with brother Gaylen Williams officiating.
Serving as pallbearers are Johnnie Murphy, James Gean and Junior Shook. Honorary pallbearers are David, Lance and Allen Fowler.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 9th at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.
