Bobby Joe Edwards, age 68, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 31, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bobby was born December 9, 1953 in Pine Bluff, AR to the late James “Frank” and Ruth Edwards.

He was retired from the South East Arkansas Community College as a Maintenance Supervisor. Previously he worked for his brother at Edwards Railroad Service.

You could find Bobby tinkering with projects around his house, fishing, gardening and woodworking.

He was always willing to lend a helping hand and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Bobby is preceded in death by his brother, Jack Edwards and sister, Beenie Jean Bolen. He is survived by his children, Bobby “Jason” (Arron) Edwards of Van Buren, Arkansas and Michelle (Steven) Pounds, of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandchildren, Ellis, Avery, Jonathan, Ethan, Xander and Connor; brothers and sisters, Ruth Anne (Jerry) Barbaree of White Hall, James (Cheryl) Edwards of Rison, Maretta “June” (Johnny) White of Harrison, and David Edwards of Monticello; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be under the direction of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home in Little Rock. Visitation will be held at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 1 pm followed by the funeral at 2 pm. Interment will be at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
