Lana Jo Gunnels, 74, of Magnolia, AR passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at her residence.
Lana was born March 17, 1941 in Spotsville, AR to the late Frank and Margaret (Mitchell) Gatlin and was a member of the Antioch East Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Susie Quine, Dorothy McWilliams, Mary Frances Triplet, Billy Gatlin, and Fannie Goble.
Lana is survived by her husband of 56 years Larry Gene Gunnels of Magnolia, AR; sons Jody Gunnels and wife Annette of Magnolia, AR and Danny Gunnels and wife Julie of Emerson, AR; grandchildren Sidney Gunnels of Magnolia, AR, Kinsley Gunnels, Karley Gunnels, and Kagen Gunnels all of Emerson, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the Lewis Chapel with Bro. Tim Wooley officiating. Burial will follow at the Antioch East Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia, AR. Visitation will be held Saturday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Allan Baker, Donnie Lewis, Randy Gunnels, Jeff Gunnels, Gaylon Gunnels, and Chad Burleson.
The family requests that memorials are sent to the Antioch East Cemetery Association, 1070 Columbia 295, Magnolia, AR 71753.
