Ms. Patricia Ann (Smith)Kaiser of Fort Smith, Arkansas died August 2008. She was born in 1939 to the late John and Margueritte (White)Smith, at the old St. Edward Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She attended First Lutheran School and later attended Fort Smith High School(now Northside), where she was a member ofteh DBS; a ceerleading canidate; anominee for Bruin Beauty. Ms. Kaiser graduted in 1957 and then attended Christian College for Young Women(now Columbia Collebe), in columbia Missouri and also Fort Smith Junior College(now University of Arkansas Fort Smith).
Ms. Kaiser ws a co-founder and first director of theRape Crisis Center in Clovis, New Mexico. She was awarded recognition for 2,500 volunteer hours in he Hospitl Auxiliary, where she was also the treasure, vice-president and bazaar chairwoman.
Ms. Kaiser was the president fo the Sandia PTA; a Cub Scout den mother and treasure of the Colonial Park Ladies Golf Association. She was a devoted Republican, but above all, she loved her children and grandchildren.
Ms. Kaiser is survived by her mother: Marguerite Smith; a brother: Tony Smith and his wife: Wanda; her special cousins: Meg Canfield, Guy Taranto Jr. and Ed Taranto; an unt: Kathleen Taranto; her best friend for over 50 years: Patsy Wilson Thorwarth; her chidlren: Dr. Gordon W. Kaiser III and his wife: Linda, John R. Kaiser, Dr.tanley H. Kaiser and his wife: Kathy; and Binca Gattis; 11 wonderful grandchildren; and four precious great-grandchidren.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, August 23, 2008, at 10:00a.m. in the West-Ark Church of christ.
Pallbearers were: Dr. Darryl Eckes, Christopher Eckes, Dr. Dean Flangan, Ken flanagan,Dr. Stacy Tait, and Sean Tait.
Alternte pallbearers were: Jerry Canfield and Frank Gldewell.
Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons: Sean, Ley, Jorgan, Jeysson, Jacob, and Drake Kaiser.
