March 30, 1929 - June 14, 2015
Kenneth Martin Jumper went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 14th in Fort Smith.
He was preceded in death by his wife Laura, his parents Cecil and Jewell, his brothers Boyd and Glen Jumper.
Kenneth leaves behind his brother Arlen Jumper and Wife Celete of Ocala Florida, sons Ronnie Jumper of midland, TX, Rick Jumper of Austin, TX, And Ken and wife Liz Jumper of Fort Smith, AR. His step children Ginger Pickens Keys of Dallas, TX and Dr. Jeff Pickens of Round Rock, TX. His grandchildren Meredith and husband J.R.Ketter of Austin, TX, Travis, Austin, Alex and Madelyn Jumper of Fort Smith, and Melinda Christian and Susie Jumper of Chicago, IL. His 4 great grandchildren Jackson and Allie Ketter of Austin, TX; and Savanna and Jake Lugay of Chicago, IL.
Kenneth loved fishing and golfing especially with his sons and grandchildren. He was lucky enough to have caught a Pacific record marlin in Hawaii and several wall hanging bass. He also had 3 hole in ones during his lifetime and shot his age several times in his early seventies. He was a graduate of the Southwestern School of Banking at SMU. During his professional life he was President and chairman of the board of the National Bank of Odessa. He served as president of the Odessa Chamber of Commerce, president of the Eastside Rotary Club, Chairman of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, member of the YMCA board, director of the Odessa Industrial Foundation, member of the Masonic Lodge and treasurer of the March of Dimes in Odessa, TX. He and his wife Laura retired to Fort Smith in 1996 to be near their youngest grandchildren. They were blessed with many great friends during their time in Arkansas. Kenneth was a member of Victory Temple Church.
His celebration of life will be Saturday, June 20th, at Lewis Funeral Home at 10AM, officiated by Pastor Gary Brown.

Laura Anna Jumper, 83, of Fort Smith, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012, in Fort Smith.
She was born May 6, 1929 in Waco, TX.
She was a member of Victory Temple Church.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, June 18, 2012, at Victory Temple Church with burial at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years Kenneth Jumper, three sons Ronnie Jumper of Midland, TX, Ricky Jumper of Austin, TX and Ken Jumper of Fort Smith, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Austin Jumper, Alex Jumper, Travis Jumper, Derek Thomas, Del Williams and J. R. Ketter.
