June 19, 1887 - November 5, 1965
Mrs. Lenobia E. Bussell, 78, of 818 Marsh Ave., died as a result of a long illness in a local hospital at 10:45 a.m. Friday. Born June 19, 1887 at Chidester, Ark., she was the daughter of Charles H. and Florence Meeks. Mrs. Bussell was the widow of R. A. Bussell and was a resident of El Dorado since 1917. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of El Dorado. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Tom Bray at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Rumph Mortuary Chapel. Mrs. Bussell is survived by one son, A. H. Bussell; one daughter, Mrs. H. J. Brooks, both of El Dorado, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Active pallbearers are J. W. Barnes, Walter Whatly, Walter Mitchum, Jim Morris, R. L. Pendleton and W. H. Ables. The honorary pallbearers will be employes of Rock Island Railroad Co. (The El Dorado Times - November 6, 1965)
