Mr. Glenn B. Hardin, age 66, died suddenly Monday night, November 13, 1972 in his home at 4500 Berkley Ave., Ft. Smith, AR.
He was the eldest son of the late Forrest W. Hardin & the late Margaret E. (Gile) Hardin of the Little Bend community of Meade Co., KY. He was a retired insurance salesman and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ft. Smith, AR. He is survived by his wife, Florence (Works) Hardin; 2 sons, Meredith Joe of Fenton, MO and Loyde Gale of Ft. Smith, AR; a daughter, Mrs. Roy Lee (Wilma Jean) Johnston of Brandenburg, KY; 3 brothers, Herbert C. Hardin of Blackwell, OK, Robert C. Hardin of Arkansas City, AR, and Claud V. Hardin of Brandenburg, KY; 3 sisters, Mrs. Madeline Burger of Tulsa, OK, Mrs. Wilbur (Margaret) Cassidy of Brandenburg, KY and Mrs. William (Ida May) Burrell of Battletown, KY; 8 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The funeral service was held in the chapel of the Edwards Funeral Home at Ft. Smith Thursday at 2:00 p.m., November 16, 1972 by the Rev. William Bennett, pastor of the First Baptist Church at Ft. Smith, AR.
Interment was in the Ft. Smith Cemetery near his home.
