Suzanne Forsgren Goodrich, 55, of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, in Fort Smith. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Suzanne was a lover of nature. She especially enjoyed her horses, birds and dog. Suzanne took great pleasure in listening to all kinds of music and reading books from her library. She devoted 25 years of her life to others by working as a nurse in the emergency room at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Forsgren; her brother, Gene Michael Forsgren; her maternal grandparents, Jim and Grace Boyd; and her stepfather, Gerald Houser. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at Roebuck Chapel with a private family committal at Roselawn cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle and her husband, Jamie Glidewell of Fort Smith; her mother, Bernie Forsgren Houser of Fort Smith; two stepbrothers, Nick Houser and James P. Houser; two grandchildren, Katy and Courtney Glidewell of Fort Smith; one uncle, Bill Boyd; and a special friend, Don Carson.
