FAYETTEVILLE - Manuel "Manny" Sanchez, 87, died Monday, May 16, 2016, at the V.A. Hospital in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born in Tulsa, Okla., to Joseph and Jesus Sanchez.

He is preceded in death by his twin sons, Todd Bryan and Terry Judson. He is survived by 3 children, Brigett Gladden of Rogersville, Mo., Tony Sanchez of Fayetteville, Scott Sanchez and his wife, Sarah of Farmington; 5 grandchildren, Stephanie Sisco and her husband, Trevor of Fayetteville, Olivia Esparza of Little Rock, Antonyo Sanchez of Okinawa, Japan, Austin and London Sanchez of Farmington; and 2 great-grandsons, Jayden Goff and Trenton Sisco of Fayetteville.

He was a retired farmer and an avid golfer. He served his country in the U.S. Army and fought in the Korean War.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Hester Cemetery, 5095 E. Huntsville Road, Fayetteville, Ark. All friends are invited to celebrate the life of our great father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Todd Bryan Sanchez, 11 day old - twin son of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Sanchez died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 8. In addition to the parents, survivors include two brothers, Tony and Terry and one sister, Brigette, all of the home; his paternal grandfather, Joe Sanchez of Tulsa and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Holzen of Eaton, Ohio.

Graveside rites were to be held at 2 p.m. today at Hester Cemetery under direction of the Nelson Funeral Home.
