December 28, 1935 - July 8, 2020
Sallie G. Funderburg, 84, of El Dorado, AR passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at her lake side home on Calion Lake.
Sallie was born December 28, 1935 in El Dorado, to the late Roy and Dorothy McHan. She was a LPN at Oak Ridge Nursing Home before retiring from the State Home Health Department. She loved her family and her church in which she was active until her bout with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Lee Roy McHan, and her son, Jay Funderburg.
She is survived by her husband Doyle Funderburg, the love of her life for 67 years, one daughter, Genell Davis and husband Clif, two sisters, Nancy Millican and husband Billy Ray, and Dianna Willett and husband Jimmy, five grandchildren, Sassy Socia and husband Brandon, Alisa Clark and husband Andrew, Heather Allison and husband Michael, Joshua Sinclair and wife Ayren and Dakota Fundrburg and wife Casey, nine great grandchildren, Coy, Claire, and Clate Socia, Zander and Zavia Clark, Tessa and Lexi Allison, Kaden Sinclair, and Page Funderburg, and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2020 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2020 in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Staples officiating. Interment will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.
Due to Covid19 all in attendance will need to wear a mask and observe social distancing, and there will be a limit on the number of people in the building at one time.
