Wife of Willie A. Modica
Sis. Mae Odis Modica was born on September 25,1922, in Junction City, AR, the daughter of Henry and Minnie Lee Williams Montgomery. She departed this life on February 19, 2006 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of the Morning Star Baptist Church, where she served as Deaconess, the Senior Choir and Circle Ruth. She united in holy matrimony to Willie Modica and to this union eleven children were born. Sis Modica is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willie Modica, three sons, Andrew, Sr., Henry Earl and Robert Earl; two sisters, Cora Mitchell and Servertis James. She leaves to cherish her memories; Seven sons; James Modica, Powder Springs, GA, Benny Modica, Little Rock, AR, Michael Modica, Russellville, AR, Kenneth Modica, Carlton Modica, Edward Modica and Gregory Modica all of El Dorado, AR; One brother, Willie Dykes, Kansas City, MO; One sister, Mae Frances Cobb, El Dorado, AR; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Homegoing services for Sis. Modica will be held on Friday, February 24, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Larry Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in the Morning Star Cemetery under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2006 from 9:00am-5:00pm. The family will receive friends at 2623 Ford Street.
