Marchella De’Ora Modica-Champion, Also known as, Chelz Chelz, Footie, and Bull was born on October 9, 1997, to Marilyn Ann Champion and Lonnie McVicker in El Dorado, AR. At an early age, she joined the Starlight Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor R.M. Johnson. She was a member of the choir and youth ministry. She was a cashier at Burger King of El Dorado and had previously worked at the Home Depot of El Dorado. Marchella was a great Mother to her daughter Marianna, a great aunt to her nieces and nephews, a great daughter, a great friend to her many friends and was confident in all she had to do. Marchella worked very hard to provide for her daughter and the bond that they shared was just amazing. Marchella was a very sharp dresser and always kept her hair and nails on point.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank Charles and Oraline Reed Champion, Wilma McVickers Ward, aunt, Geraldine Champion and her unborn son Jayceon Isiah due date was to be on February 14, 2020.

She is survived by her daughter, Marianna Shiann Baker, Mother, Marilyn Champion, and Father, Lonnie McVicker, sister, Mellaneshia Modica, brothers, Trayshun Champion and Dmmoryia McVickers all of El Dorado, Grandfather Dorse Jackson of Michigan. Special Aunt and Godmother Fay Ward of Strong, AR, other Aunts, Annie (Willie) Neal of San Francisco, Ca, Janice Champion of El Dorado, AR, Linda Champion of Atlanta, Ga, Lisa Fleming of Bossier City, La, Velena (Kelvin) Stewart of El Dorado, AR, Audrey (Ira) Baker of Strong, AR, Eileen (Marcus) Barr of Strong, AR, Melody Ricks of Dallas, TX, Uncles, Eddie (Deanna) Johnson, Strong, AR, Cleotis (Dana) Ward of Dallas, TX, Special Friend, Janeis Hall, Special cousin, Sylvester Champion (MooMoo), Special God sister, Sha’Toria Rainey, special Godmother, Annie Rainey, Cousin, Lawanna Lee (Moochie) and uncle, Pooky Xavier Champion, nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers, and many friends.

Public Visitation, Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 1:00p.m.-5:00p.m. at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services Saturday at 11:00a.m.at Morning Star Baptist Church #2. Interment will be at Morning Star Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
