Mary Evelyn Garrett, 94 of Fort Smith passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010. She was born July 15, 1915 in Ozark to the late Edgar Taylor and Beulah Simmons Taylor.
She was a member of Goddard United Methodist Church and was a Homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul E. Garrett.
Graveside services were 11:30 AM Friday, June 18, 2010 at Roselawn Cemetery with the Reverend Kim Cloninger officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
She is survived by her daughter Janice Walrod of Ft. Smith and son Paul Ray Garrett of Bonanza, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Garrett, Chuck Dyer, Matt Friery, Phillip Walrod, John Popovits, and Brett Short.
