KELLEY, Margaret - Margaret Kelley was born in Tennessee Sept. 12, 1837 and settled in Benton county when but a child; and died Oct. 23, 1916, aged 79 years, 1 mo. and 11 days. She has made her home with her brother, "Uncle Jim" Kelley at Beaty for many years; and was a member of the M.E. church for over 50 years. Burial occurred at Denton cemetery Tuesday following the funeral service conducted by John W. Mitchell. The deceased leaves a host of relatives and friends.

KELLY, Sally - (from Beaty) On Oct. 23 Margaret Kelly, sister of "Uncle Jim" Kelly, died, as reported last week, and on Oct. 29, Mrs. Sally Kelly, wife of "Uncle Jim" passed away at the age of 74 years. She had been a member of the M.E. church several years and was a good woman. The body was laid to rest Monday at the Denton cemetery, Rev. J.W. West conducting the funeral. She leaves a host of relatives and friends.
