Virgie "Tommie" Wright, 75, of Denton, Texas, formerly of Fayetteville, died Monday, May 1, 1989, in a Denton hospital. Born March 27, 1914, at Altus, the daughter of B.M. and Millie May Brink Griffith, she was the widow of Ted Wright. She was a homemaker and had moved to Denton two years ago from
Nacona, Texas.
She is survived by a son, Gerald Tackett of Carrollton, Texas; a brother, Floyd Griffith of Topeka, Kan.; three sisters, Vesta Griffith of Mangum, Okla., and Hazel Wilson and Eunice Ferguson, both of Fayetteville; and two granddaughters.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Buckner Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
