Mary Jewel Corder Boshears, age 102, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022. She was born July 22, 1920, in Jacksonville, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Simon P. Corder and the late T. Beall Calhoun. She was the widow of Clinton Boshears. A life long member of Harmony Baptist Church, she loved working for the Lord; her passion was her family. She was a member of the Busy Bee Quilters, made the best yeast rolls in the South, and was always happy and laughing. She never met a stranger.
Mary Jewel is survived by her children, Cola (Phil) Thomas and Daniel Boshears; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; brother Thomas (Verna) Corder and sister, Mable Grace Jones.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 22, at Harmony Baptist Church with Bro. Tony Harris and Bro. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will be at Harmony Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Online Guestbook: www.harrisfuneralhomes.net
