Springdale - Albert Earl (Cotton) Bloyed, 72, of Fayetteville died Sunday at his home. Born April 21, 1911, in West Fork, the son of William Nelson and Ethel Louella Gilstrap Bloyed, he was a member of Greenland Free Will Baptist Church, and a retired barber who had owned and operated barber shops in Springdale and Fayetteville since 1953. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Esther Bodewitz Bloyed of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce McCoy of Springdale; four brothers, Buster of Fresno, Calif., Dutch and James, both of Fayetteville and Jackie of Bentonville, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Bynum and Mrs. Juanita Bynum, both of Corcoran, Calif. and Mrs. Oleita Trice of Oklahoma City, Okla. and one
grandchild.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sisco Chapel with burial in Buckner Cemetery in Fayetteville.

Springdale - Mrs. Lucy Ellen Bloyed, 72, of Route 4, Springdale, died Sunday at her home. Born Aug 26, 1908 in Baldwin, the daughter of Jacob and Alice Lewis Drake, she was a member of People's Mission Church.

She is survived by her husband, Earl Bloyed of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Ann McCoy of Springdale; a brother, Jake Drake Jr. of Fayetteville; two sisters, Mrs. Earle Logue of Fayetteville and Mrs. Fannie Young of Yorba Linda, Calif. and one grandchild.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p m. Wednesday at the People's Mission Church with burial in Buckner Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel.
