Sharon Gail Bales Evans, 80, formerly of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in a Rogers, Arkansas hospital.
She was born on December 2, 1941 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to William Hugh and Zora (Johnson) Bales.
Sharon was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Jenny Lind Arkansas and a retired secretary and medical transcriptionist.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Jack Evans, Sr. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who cared more about her family than herself. She loved animals, especially her pets, often taking in any animal that needed a home. She loved God faithfully and was one of the most kind and compassionate people we will ever know.
She is survived by her daughter, Leesa Howard and her husband, Bruce of Greenwood, AR; a son, Bobby Jack Evans, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Bentonville, AR; a sister in law, Nancy Bales of Ballwin, MO; five grandchildren, Brad Peters of Rogers, AR, Moriah Crumb of Fort Smith, AR, Caleb Evans and his wife Liz of Bella Vista, AR, Parker Evans of Bentonville, AR and Emmalee Evans of Bentonville, AR and one great grandchild, Charlotte Evans.
Graveside services are 11:00AM, Monday, January 17, 2022 at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. She may be viewed from 12-4PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Bobby, Caleb and Parker Evans, Bradley Peters, Bruce Howard and William Bales.
