Mrs. Ruth Kathleen Lawrence, 65, of Rt. 1, El Dorado, died in a local hospital at 9:15 p.m. Thursday following a lengthy illness. Born April 7, 1900, in Three Creeks, Mrs. Lawrence was the daughter of Rev. J. D. and Martha Stewart Crawford. She was the widow of W. R. Lawrence and a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church. Survivors include: one son, Richard C. Lawrence, El Dorado; two daughters, Mrs. L. LK. Coleman, Denton, Tex., and Mrs. Claude Bolding, Strong; two brothers, W. E. Crawford, Three Creeks, and R. F. Crawford, El Dorado; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Wyatt Baptist Church with Rev. Willy LaBeff officiating. Interment will follow in the Parnell Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. Pallbearers will be James R. Crawford, Robert Crawford, Donald Crawford, Donald Crawford, Phillip Moore, Fred Jones and J. W. Ellen. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. C. E. Tommey, H. J. Mayfield, Dr. Larkin Wilson and men of the Wyatt Baptist Church. The casket will remain at the mortuary. (The El Dorado Times - May 8, 1965)
