September 2, 1893 - October 9, 1969

Mrs. Minnie M. Fife Shinpock, 77, of Rt. 1, El Dorado, died Thursday morning at a local nursing home. Born Sept.2, 1892, in Marion, La., she was the daughter of Sam and Myrtle Sisco Fife. She was a member of the Free Penecostal Church. Survivors include Four sons, Elray Fife, Marvin Fife and Bennie H. Fife, all of El Dorado, and Roy J. Fife of Louann; one daughter, Mrs. Allie Gorman of Ellisville, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Julie Fife of Strong, Mrs. Annie Smith of Pine Bluff, and Mrs. Ruth Porter of El Dorado; two brothers, Sam Sisco of El Dorado, and W. G. Sisco of Crossett; 21 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Green Grove Church. Burial will be in the Green Grove Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. The family will be at the home of Bennie Fife, Wyatt. (The El Dorado Times - October 1, 1969)
