FAYETTEVILLE — Nellie "Erma Lee" Beeks, 80, of Fayetteville died Sept. 11, 2005, at her home. She was born Oct. 27, 1924, in Fayetteville to Ira Walter and Nellie Lavanche Holland Cox. She was employed in food service at K-Mart for 16 years before retiring, and had worked for Ozark Vending. She was a member of Life Covenant Church and attended Farmington Senior Citizen Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Beeks, and one daughter, Nellie Davis.
Survivors include four sons, Eugene Bush of Quinton, Okla., Jimmy Beeks, Frank Beeks and Walter Beeks, all of Fayetteville; two daughters, Nancy Calhoon and Connie Hillian, both of Fayetteville; one sister, Bonnie Beeks of Fayetteville; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Farmington Baptist Church with the Rev. Preston Beeks and the Rev. Kinny Maddox officiating. Burial will be in Mount Comfort Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Bush, Michael Bush, Toby McGee, Johnny Calhoon, Michael Davis, Scott Beeks, Barry Hillian, Michael Hillian and Ryan Plunket.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Erma Beeks assistance fund at Arvest Bank in Farmington.

Nellie Elizabeth (Beeks) Davis, 35, of Mansfield, Texas, died Friday, Aug. 5, 1994, at Arlington Cancer Center in Arlington, Texas. Born Oct. 27, 1958, at Turlock, Calif., the daughter of Erma Lee and Orville D. Beeks, she was a medical office manager. She moved to Fayetteville in 1972 from Hughson, Calif. and attended Farmington schools.
Survivors are her husband, Michael B. Davis of Mansfield, Texas; a son, Michael Ryan Davis of Mansfield, Texas; a daughter, Sarah Marie Davis of Mansfield, Texas; her mother, Erma Lee Beeks of Fayetteville; four brothers, Eugene Bush of Quinton, Okla., Jim Beeks of Fayetteville, Walter Beeks of Fayetteville, and Frank Beeks of Waterford, Calif.; two sisters, Nancy Calhoon and Connie Hillian, both of Fayetteville; seven nieces; nine nephews; and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral is at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Abundant Life Tabernacle with the Rev. Dennis Brannan officiating. Burial is in Mount Comfort Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moore's Chapel. Memorials may be made to Abundant Life Tabernacle for the Nellie Davis Fund, 1855 Porter Road, Fayetteville, 72703.
