ODELL WATSON JR., of Sherwood went to his eternal home Tuesday, April 10, 2018. He celebrated his 80th birthday on January 13th of this year. Odell was born to Odell, Sr. and Rosetta McFadden Watson, whom preceded him in eternity. He married Loretta Young Watson on October 26, 1958, whom preceded him in eternity. Also preceding him in eternity are his sisters Elmyra Williams, Callie Phillips and Lorene Joshua.

Surviving him are his brother, Earlee Watson, Sherwood, AR, sisters, Pearl Greer of El Paso, TX, Edna Tolliver and Gearline (Gene) Tolliver of Detroit, MI. In-Laws, Michael(Kathy) Young, Shreveport, LA, Charlie (Lupe) Young, San Antonio, TX, Charles "Tito" (Esther) Young, Kansas City, KS, Clovis Wells, Los Angeles, CA, Frederick (Jettie) Young, St. Louis, MO; Shirley Granberry, Neelyville, MO, Reginald and Donald Bratchett, North Little Rock, Layuna Bratchett, Jacksonville, and Lisa Mitchell, Detroit, MI.

His legacy lives on in four generations in his children, Velina Mouton, Sherwood, Karen (Darrell) Eason, St. Louis, MO, Sheila (Milton) Fields, Sherwood, Ron Watson, Little Rock, Carla (Kevin) Wyatt, Aurora, CO and Curtland (Maria) Watson, 22 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and so many friends. Odell never met a stranger.

Family Hour: Friday, 6:00- 8:00 p.m. Public Viewing: Saturday 9:00- 9:55 am. Homegoing Celebration: Saturday 10:00 all held at St. John M.B. Church, 2501 S. Main St., Little Rock, AR. Officiating: Rev. C.D. Edwards I. Internment: Mt. Valley Cemetery.
