Rufus Ansley, 88, of Sherwood passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010. He leaves to cherish his memory; children, Larry D. (Jewel), Melvin R. (Pam), and David L. (Kewanee) Ansley, Luvenia (Charles) Price, Gloria (Michael) Walters, and Rosezenia ( Frank) Gunn; 21 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held tomorrow, 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Rock Church in Cato, Arkansas. The family will receive friends today from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Professional services are entrusted to Hardy Funeral Home, 2408 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive (501) 372-4129.

OPAL LEE ANSLEY departed this life on Monday, April 21, 2008, in North Little Rock. She was born in Twist, Ark., on Jan. 10, 1931. She attended public school in Parkin School District. She was a homemaker and served diligently in her church. She was also a member of Eastern Star and the Home Extension Club of Wynne. She leaves to cherish her husband Rufus of 62 years. She was the mother of nine children. She is survived by Gloria, Martha, Ed, Gloria (Michael), Luevenia (Charles), Rosezenia (Frank), Larry (Jewel), Melvin (Pam), David (Kewanne), 21 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2008, 11 a.m. at St. Peters Rock M.B. Church (Cato). A family hour will be held Friday, April 25, 2008, from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Professional service entrusted to Hardy Funeral Home of Little Rock, 2408 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, (501) 372-4129.
