Judith Kay (Langham) Clark-Greenfield, 77, died Friday, January 4,2019 at her home in Fort Smith,Arkansas. Death was from complications caused from Alzheimers disease diagnosed in 2010.
She was born May 5,1941 in Jackson, Michigan to the late Charles Vergal and Margaret Rita (Demko) Langham.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Bernice (Cole) Langham; her stepson, Bernie Greenfield; and her beloved first husband Ross Kay Clark (1936-1981), father of their two surviving children; daughter ,Denise Anne Clark of Telluride, Colorado; son, Steven Ross (Catherine) Clark; and grandsons, Ian Ross and James Michael all of Greeley, Colorado.

She is also survived by her loved younger siblings, two sisters and a brother; Joyce (Dan) Bump of Hudson, Michigan; Kathleen (Walter) Franke of Osseo, Michigan; and Charles (Sherilyn) Langham of Tolar, Texas.

Judy graduated in 1959 from Addison High School in Addison, Michigan. She lost her mother at the early age of seven and endured a difficult childhood being shuffled between relatives and never enjoying a secure home life. She worked very hard to provide the loving home environment for her husband and children that she was denied. Judy was a mother extraordinaire and outstanding homemaker. Prior to her illness, she enjoyed motor home traveling/camping, hiking, golfing, archaeology, bridge, yard gardening and visiting with her children and grandchildren. She was a past member of Fianna Hills’ Women’s Golf Association, Rheem Women’s Bridge Group, Family Motor Coach Association, a leader in Cub and Girl Scouting and a former president of the Beard Elementary School P.T.A.

Judy and her second, John B. Greenfield, both realized a vow made on their wedding day, March 15,1984, to “Grow Old Together”. She leaves John and two step-daughters, one stepson( seven step grandchildren); Barbara (Steve) Daniel (Taylor, Evan and Payton); Mary Kay (Kevin) Patterson (Rachel); David (Michelle) Greenfield (Luke, Faith and John) all of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Family and friends have missed Judy for some time due to failing health over the past two decades. Judy was a practicing Christian without denominational affiliation. She has requested a small private family gathering after inurnment of her cremains at Roselawn Cemetery in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. No visitation or memorial service is planned. Cremation is being arranged through Lewis Roberts Funeral Chapel in Ft. Smith.
