Viola Magee Mahan went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2009. She was born on November 6, 1913 in Vilonia AR., to Marvin and Florence Wooley, who predeceased her. Preceding her in death sisters, Blanche Choate, Ina Sawchuck, Dora Pace and brothers Fred and Bruce Wooley.

She is survived by her husband Lonnie Mahan, son Eddie Magee (Karen); daughter Jean Habig (Arnold); stepson, Reginald Mahan (Martha), six grand children and five great grandchildren, sister Lucille Garner. Special families, Kevin Watson family of Conway; the Cord Adams family of Tulsa OK and Wayne and Cathy Cecil of Lake Kiowa, TX.

Viola was a life long member of Wes Carmical Church. She worked in the North Little Rock School Cafeteria Program for 20 years. She was an avid golfer in her younger years and spent 40 years with the senior programs at the Willow and Heritage Houses. Her afghans and prized ceramics are treasured by friends and relatives.

Visitation to celebrate her happy life will be held on Monday July 6, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Roller Owens Funeral Home, 5509 JFK Blvd, North Little Rock, AR. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. at the Roller Owens Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Glenn Choate officiating. A private family burial will follow the service.

Memorials may be made to the Sherwood Animal Shelter or Audubon Arkansas.
