Debbie Jean Varnell, 51, of Jacksonville, passed away Sunday April 8, 2012. She was born October 7, 1960 in Lubbock, Texas to Roy Sharp and Jean Graves Sharp and was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents. She was a cafeteria manager for the Pulaski County Special School District. Debbie is survived by her husband Jimmy Varnell, of Jacksonville; her parents Roy and Jean Sharp of Jacksonville; four daughters, Wendi Sharp, Heather Hambrick (Robert), Jessica Varnell and Rachel Varnell, all of Jacksonville; three brothers, Ron Sharp of Quitman, Mike Sharp of Jacksonville, Jeff Sharp of Cabot and one grandson, Robert Lane of Jacksonville. The Family would like to extend a special thanks to Arkansas Hospice for their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org or American Brain Tumor Association at abta.org. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2012 in the Chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Brother Robert Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Sumner Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home and Crematory (501)843-5816. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
