Allen LaRoy Robinson, 60, of Lavaca died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, in his home. He was born Dec. 18, 1947, in Fort Smith. He was a retired truck driver.
Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at Oak Valley Cemetery south of Lavaca under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Lavaca.
He is survived by his wife, Emily of the home; one son, Heath Robinson of Lavaca; one sister, Irene Robinson of Fort Smith; one brother, Darrell Robinson of Fort Smith; and one grandchild, Wesely Robinson.
Pallbearers: Shaun and Darrell Patrick, Heath Robinson and Joe Patrick.

Emily Robinson, began her journey July 22, 1950, and it came to an end Nov. 23, 2015. She was 65 years, 4 months and 1 day old. She was the youngest daughter of the late Ira Wilson and Angul (Dodson) Wilson.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Allen Robinson, and one brother, Patrick Wilson.
Emily was a hairdresser at Town and Country Beauty Salon in Lavaca for 38 years, and she was a 1968 graduate of Lavaca High School.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston with the Rev. Randy Moore officiating. Burial will be at Oak Valley Cemetery, south of Lavaca, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
She is survived by her son, Heath Allen Robinson of Lavaca; three sisters, Wanda Collins and husband Ernie of Greenwood, Carolyn Thomas of El Dorado and Selma Green of Lavaca; her sister-in-law, Irene Pixley and husband Jim of Barling;her brother-in-law, Darrell Robinson and wife Debbie of Fort Smith; one grandson, Wesley Robinson and fiancée Lacey Danyell of Mansfield; one great-granddaughter, Emma Noel Robinson; several nieces and nephews; and a friend to all of her ladies at the Town and Country Beauty Shop in Lavaca.
