"Big Mama"
August 20, 1891 - July 28, 1974
Mrs. Idell Green, 83, of Smackover died Sunday in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church of Smackover with the Rev. M. T. Easter officiating. Burial will be in the Hicks Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. Born Aug. 20, 1890 in Union County, Mrs. Green was the daughter of Wess and Ann Goodwin Arnold. Survivors include Mrs. Dorothy Mae Tatum of Smackover and Mrs. Amey Lee Green of Seattle, Wash.; six sisters; three brothers; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
