Ms. Hazel King of Greenwood, Arkansas, died Monday, August 25, 2014 in Greenwood. Ms. King was 96 years old. She was a homemaker.
Ms. King was preceded in death by her 1st and 2nd husbands: Harvey Norried and Jewell King; 2 daughters: Joyce Tankersley and and Barbara Webb; 2 sons-in-law: Kenneth Tankersley and Lowell Webb; 2 brothers: John Farr, Jr. and William Farr and 1 sister-in-law: Ellen Farr.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Lois Elmore and her husband, Charles of Greenwood, Arkansas; 2 step-sons: Willard King of Tennessee and Jimmy King and his wife, JoEtta of Texas; 1 sister-in-law: Beatrice Farr of Mississippi; 2 nieces: Janie Farlee and Deloris Burch of Mississippi; 7 grandchildren: Randall Elmore, Regina Cantrell, Dee Brian Tankersley, Lisa Elmer, Jeremey Webb, Justin Webb and Tanya Bivins; 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends.
Funeral service was held on Saturday morning, August 30, 2014 at McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Jeremey Webb, Justin Webb, Jesse Elmore, Harley Elmore, Caleb Bivins, Christian Palmer and Zachary Cantrell.
