Wife of James E. Peterson
Debra Ann Ferris Peterson, 64, of Smackover, Arkansas passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, April 5, 2020 at her home.
Debbie was of the Baptist faith. She was born May 28, 1955 in Clinton Iowa to Pansy “Pat” Darden Ferris Parks of El Dorado and James D. Ferris of Oregon, Illinois.
Debbie is preceded in death by her step-father, Julius Ray Parks of El Dorado.
Survivors include her husband, James Peterson of El Dorado; his three sons, Mike, Thomas, Jimmy Peterson; Debbie’s daughter, Angela M. Helms of Norphlet; and her siblings, Samuel R. Parks, Jacqueline Parks Buckley of El Dorado, Tom, Dewayne and David Ferris of Illinois. Also surviving her are, Ray Parks Jr. of Memphis TN, Linda Smith of Texas and Sherry Dumas of El Dorado. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Christian, Cameron and Addison Helms of Norphlet; her great-grandbaby, Baby Helms; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In keeping with the Center of Disease Control (CDC) recommendations regarding public gatherings there will be a private family graveside service.
