ROGERS — Fred Martin Barker, 87, of Rogers, Ark., passed from this life Sept. 1, 2016, in Rogers. He was born Feb. 9, 1929, in Albany, Ore., to Forest and Bessie (Martin) Barker.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Craig Barker.
Mr. Barker served our country for over 20 years in the Air Force, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a machinist for Albany International for 22 years, retiring in 1990. Fred married Dorothy (Waggy) Barker on July 30, 1971. He was a member of First Assembly of God, Springdale, VFW 2952, and the American Legion.
Fred is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his children, Christine McAuliffe and Gary Barker; his grandchildren, Allison and Ari Aosved, Heather and James Barker, and Catherine and Craig Barker.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at First Assembly of God Church, Springdale. Interment will be Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Please share your memories of Fred on his memorial at www.WestfieldChapel.com.

ROGERS — Dorothy Barker, 89, of Rogers, died Monday, March 4, 2019. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Violet Waggy, her husband, Fred Barker, sons James Allen Butler and Craig Barker and brother Gene Waggy. Dorothy is survived by four daughters, Joanne West, Kay Crocker, Judee Butler and Christine McAluliff and son Gary Barker and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
