*Obituary
George Umholtz, 61, of Ozark died Tuesday at his home of an apparent heart attack. He was superintendent of the golf course at Ozark Recreation Club. Son of the late Alpha and Mary Williams Umholtz, he was a native of Hunt in Johnson county. Survivors include his wife, Almeda Dobson Umholtz; four daughters, Mrs. Don Sanders and Mrs.
Paul W. Williams, both of Ozark, Mrs. Bill Patton of Hunt and Mrs. Fred Stover of Fort Smith; two sons, Ernest of Fort Worth and Curtis of Clarksville; two sisters, Lillie Mantooth and Vera Brown, both of Fort Smith; four brothers, Jimmy of Tulsa, Charlie of Clarendon, Dave of Charleston and Tommy of Mountain Top; and 13 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband George W Umholtz, two grandsons, Charles Darter and Jerry Patton, and two granddaughters, Nancy Bookout and Melody Prachyl. Survived by four daughters, Barbara J. Sanders of Ozark, Bertha and husband Paul Williams of Ozark, Eva E. Patton of Altus and Geneva and husband Fred Stover of Fort Smith; two sons, Ernest and wife Dorothy Umholtz of Springtown, Texas, and Curtis G. Umholtz of Clarksville; longtime caregiver, Edith Malone of Ozark; a sister, Dolly Dee and husband Kenneth Newman of California; two brothers, Hurbert and wife Betty Lou Dobson of Arkoma and Clifford and wife Estelle Dobson of Fort Smith; three granddaughters, Marie and husband Scott Salisbury of Altus, Rebecca and husband Earl Collins of Alex and Teresa and husband Robert Dana of Ozark; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
