Fred Livingston Douglas, Jr. age 77, of Cabot passed away Friday, November 28, 2008. He was born April 9, 1931 in Lonoke County Arkansas to the late Fred, Sr. and Gladys Smith Douglas. Fred served his country in the U.S. Marines from 1951 to 1954. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Fred and his family were honored with the naming of Douglas Road. In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by two sisters, Clarence Cox and Francis Roderwise.



Fred is survived by his wife, Ann Bostian Douglas; children, Ricky Douglas and his wife Lisa of Furlow and Kristy Theroux and her husband George of McAlester, Oklahoma; sister, Joann Clements and her husband Pete of Cabot; five grandchildren, Dakota Douglas, Misty Sumler and her husband Matt, Brian Theroux, Kimberly Carter and her husband Jeff and Heather Theroux; six great-grandchildren, Kelsie Carter, Kayden Carter, Landon Carter, Brianna Duncan, Mattie Sumler, and Kayla Sumler and several loving nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 1, 2008 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Brother Terry Fortner and Brother Lawrence Vowen officiating. Interment will follow at Sumner Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday at Moores Cabot Funeral Home. Memorial may be made to Zion Hill Baptist Church or Arkansas Hospice. Arrangements are by Moores Cabot Funeral Home (501)843-5816.

Edna Ann Douglas, 86, of Cabot, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022. She was born November 12, 1935 in Beebe to the late Lorie Paycon Bostian and Clara Myrtle Lusk Bostian Byrd. Ann was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was the glue that held the family together and loved them all dearly. Ann was a lifelong resident of Cabot, as well as a long-time member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She loved her pastor, her church and participating in Sunday school activities. Ann enjoyed camping, going to singings with Mrs. Jean and also taking road trips with her. They were nicknames “Thelma and Louise”. She never met a stranger and was loved by her friends and family. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, Livingston Douglas, Jr.; son, Ricky Douglas; great-granddaughter, Abagail Theroux and sister, Arnida Pool.
