Carol Joann Hansen, age 72 of Junction City passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014 at her home. Carol was born on February 18, 1941 in Southgate, California to the late Joseph L. Dudley and Ellen (Bond) Dudley. Carol attended COCC in Bend, Oregon and was a retired LPN. Carol worked for numerous hospitals and nursing homes throughout Oregon Washington and North Carolina before her retirement. Carol was also an avid reader and she felt as though she traveled many places through her books.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her step father, Frank Ekland; sister, Denise Perry; grandson, Drake Beecher Stam and her special K9 companion, Dixie.
Those left to cherish her memory include; two daughters, Madilane McDonald of Junction City and Elena Macintosh of Surf City, NC; two sons, Scott McDonald of Beaver Creek, Oregon and Mark McDonald of Camden; one brother, Duane Dudley of Bend, Oregon; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Wednesday at Bailey Funeral Home in Junction City.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Roselawn Cemetery with Bro. Claude Patterson officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Junction City.
