October 18, 1915 - June 15, 2015
Ivie Linder Mason age 99 of El Dorado, formerly of Junction City passed from this life on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Timberlane Health and Rehab Center in El Dorado. Ivie was born on October 18, 1915 in Randolph, Louisiana to the late Helen Alfreda Rayborn Linder and Joe L. Linder. She was a lifelong member of Bethel Baptist Church in Lillie, LA and was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, whom will be greatly missed by all.
Ivie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred "Frostie" Mason; Grandson, Daniel Jeffrey Mason; five brothers and two sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include; two sons, Jerry L. Mason and his wife Rita of Lafayette, LA and Danny Mason and his wife Judy of Seminary, MS; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 18, 2015, until funeral services at 1:30 pm at Bethel Baptist Church in Lillie with Rev. Marty Black and Rev. Phillip Farris officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Junction City.
The family would like to thank the staff and caretakers of Timberlane Health and Rehab for their loving care given to Ivie from 2007 until present.
