Jessie Pauline "Sis" Weaver, who resided in Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at her home. She was born November 10, 1945 in Rock Island, Oklahoma to the late Frank Sweeten and Ellen Sweeten. She was 68 years old.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Kay Buchley and one brother, Bo Sweeten.
Jessie retired from Planters Peanuts in Fort Smith and was of the Baptist faith.
A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Buddy Corbell officiating. Burial of cremains will be at Hickory Ridge Cemetery at a later date. Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of almost 50 years, Hoyt Weaver; one daughter, Jammie Birch and husband Danny of Lavaca; one son, Billy Weaver of Lavaca; one son-in-law, John Buchley of Lavaca; two sisters, Ruth Langwell of Hackett and Linda Wilkerson of Fort Smith; two brothers, Carl "Shorty" Sweeten of Midland and Jim Sweeten of Hackett; four grandchildren, Brianna Jones, Jessica Reed, Symber Weaver, and Rylea Weaver; one great-grandchild, Sawyer Reed and one great-granddaughter arriving in October, Brynlee Kay Reed.
