Lottie D. Bailey, 92, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012, at Timberlane Health and Rehabilitation. She was born April 13, 1920, to Samson Harrison and Cora Simpson Bland in Sparrow, Oklahoma. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her loving husband, John H. Bailey; three children, Frances, Jane and Janet; brothers Leon, Ted, Emmit, and Everett Bland; son in laws Billy Joe Campbell and James Single and sisters, Juanita Capps, Georgia Adams.

Survivors include her son, Doyle Owen ( Susan ) Bailey of St. Louis, MO; three daughters, Margaret Campbell of El Dorado, Glenda J. Single of Duncansville, PA, Martha Lavion ( Houng Y. ) Soo of Burke, VA; brothers; Harrison Bland of Sheppard, Texas and Ed Bland of Ft. Smith, AR; a sisters, Sophia Henshaw of Oklahoma; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Young’s.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Young’s Chapel with Rev Ross Sawyers and Rev Farron Young officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund, 701n S. West Ave., El Dorado, AR 71730.
