Jack E. Walters, 86, of Clarksville died Friday, September 16, 2005, in a clarksville nursing home. He was born September 13, 1919, in Howe. He was a retired coal miner and Colonial Bread salesman for 35 years, a Navy veteran of World war II and a member of American Legion Bunch Walton Post No. 22. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Vozel walters.

Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with burial at Calvary Cemetery in Fort Smith.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law. two sons and daughters-in-law, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
