George W. Manasco, 55, of 304 W. Second St., died Friday morning in a local hospital. He was the owner of Tower Drive-In and was a member of the El Dorado Lodge No 13 F and AM. He was a member of the Vantrease Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nell D. Manasco of El Dorado; one son, Max Manasco of El Dorado; one daughter, Mrs. Wanda Hogue of El Dorado; five sisters, Mrs. Mamie Moore of West Helena, Mrs. Ella Williams of Tyler, Tex., Mrs. Nellie Haynie of McCrory, Mrs. Lourita Lewis of West Helena, and Mrs. Rovila Eason of Tyler, Tex., and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Vantrease Methodist Church with Rev. Noel Cross officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home. Masonic Graveside rites will be conducted. Pallbearers will be Joe Lee, Richard C. Russell, D. R. Mullins, Jr., J. H. Johnson, Marcus Lowe, Lawrence Lee, and Jack Parrish. Masonic graveside rites will be conducted by J. E. Haynie. (El Dorado Daily News - June 4, 1967)
