Mrs. Loella Davis, 88, of El Dorado died Wednesday night in a local nursing home after a lengthy illness. Born Sept. 22, 1881 in Junction City, she had been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a member of Wyatt Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Roy Davis, El Dorado, and Troy Davis, Estevan, Canada; a step son, Alymer Davis, Magnolia; a brother, Clifford Andrews, El Dorado; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Welch and Mrs. Martha Barker, both of El Dorado, and 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Wyatt Baptist Church with the Rev. W. A. LaBeff officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rumph Mortuary.
