Norma Joyce Phelps, daughter of the late Jack G. Mayo and Mattie Francis Duncan, born June 28, 1931 in Waldo, Arkansas, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at the age of 86.
Norma enjoyed attending church and participating with the 50+ group, bible studies and creating beautiful artwork.

She is survived by her two daughters, Renee Thornton of Lake Charles and Judy Erickson and husband, Gary of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Dorothy Stevens of El Dorado, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Kayla Nation and husband, Greg, Amanda Porche and husband, Jacob and Heather Thornton; 2 great-grandchildren, Lily Margaret and Lainey Mae Porche. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Elias Tullos; grandson, Jason Erickson.

A Celebration of Life will be in Livingway, 1617 E. McNeese Street, Monday, January 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. with the Revs. Gary Erickson and Glenn Massey officiating.

Inurnment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in El Dorado, Arkansas on January 16, 2018 after a memorial service in Young’s Chapel at 10 a.m.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home – Iowa.
