PINKERTON, Carrie SAWREY - In loving remembrance of Carrie Sawrey Pinkerton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brown Sawrey. Born December 23, 1880 in Newton Co., Mo. and at the age of one year moved with her parents to Benton Co., Ark. where she spent her happy childish days and grew to lovely womanhood among us, loved and respected by all. At the tender age of fourteen she professed faith in her Christ, joined and became an active member of the M.E. church at Hebron. Two years ago she moved with her parents to Texas. November 2, 1912 she was united in marriage to Geo. C. Pinkerton and on August 28, 1913 her spirit winged its way to God, who gave it. The parents and husband accompanied her remains to Rogers, interring them in the family cemetery at Hebron. The sympathy of the many friends is extended to the family and to her good parents, husband and two sisters.
