Trudell Williams, born October 11, 1938, in Mt. Holly, Arkansas, was the 2nd born of three children of Eddie and Blanchie (Lawson) Johnson.

She was educated in the Mt. Holly Public schools, particularly New Hope Schools. Starting with New Hope Elementary School and continuing thru graduation from New Hope High School in 1957. She furthered her education by attending and graduating from Arkansas AM & N College with a Bachelor of Science and Education Degree, later achieving a Master's Degree in Education from Henderson State University. She then started her professional career becoming a teacher in the El Dorado School District after 38 years of faithful service.

During her early years, Trudell was very involved in her church and community. One of her favorite pastimes was playing basketball. She played during the time when the females played with six players on the court, restricting three players on each side of the half-court line. Along with her teammates, they were fierce competitors wearing the blue & gold of New Hope.

Trudell met the love of her life Murry Lee Williams, and the two were united in Holy Matrimony on June 22, 1958. Their union was blessed with three children Irish, Bernard, and Eric.

She was a lifelong member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she served faithfully in many leadership capacities: Finance Committee, Superintendent of Sunday School, and wherever she was needed.

Trudell was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Blanchie, and brother Eddie Jr. Left with precious memories a daughter Irish Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas, two sons Tyrone Bernard Williams of South Lyon, Michigan, and Eric Kennard Williams (Joelle) of Branson, Missouri.

Grandchildren Boaz Williams, Keziah Williams, Victoria Williams, Priscilla Williams, Lauren Williams, Tabitha Williams, Nehemiah Williams, De'borah Williams, and Ezra Williams. A sister Gwendolyn J. Mitchell of Kansas City, Missouri, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
