Benjamin Louis Daniel (Benny) was born to Louis T. and Helen Marie Green Daniel on September 6, 1951 in Claiborne Parish, Homer Louisiana. Benny attended Washington High School and completed his GED studies in the Job Corps in Grants, New Mexico.

He joined church at an early age at Starlight Baptist Church confessing his belief in Jesus Christ at His personal Saviour. Later in life he united with First St. James MBC, where he served on the Usher Board.

He was preceded in death by his father Louis T. Daniel, his Brother Robert Daniel, His Son Kevin Daniel, and step-son Stephen Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Helen Daniel, his brother Andrew Daniel (Floria), both of El Dorado, AR., Two children Antwinn Daniel (Patricia) and Cynthia Daniel both of El Dorado, AR. Five sisters, Carolyn Daniel, Alexandra, AR. Cheryl Brady (Donald) of Puyallup, Washington, Cynthia Woods (Kenny) Shakeitha Steele (Terry) both of Little Rock, AR and Toria Williams (Marlin) of West Point, New York. Eleven grandchildren, seven great-grands, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2017 from 1-5pm at Sims Mortuary. Funeral Service at 11:00am on Saturday 18, 2017 at First St. James Baptist Church with Rev. Roy C. Aaron, eulogist. Interment at Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
