Ruby D. Dugal Gibson, 98 of El Dorado, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Timberlane Health and Rehab. She was born May 9, 1914, to George Webber and Eunice Irene West Dugal in Strong, AR.
She was a member of Marable Hill Chapel and was a homemaker. Ruby was also a clerk for the El Dorado House and enjoyed arts, crafts, painting and sewing.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, James Woodville “Woody” Gibson; three brothers, Dick, A.C. and India Dugal; and three sisters, Irene Connell, Janet Hooten, and Norma Sally Cooksey.
Survivors include her daughter, Doris Ann Gibson of Hot Springs, three grandchildren, Kyla Renee Jackson of El Dorado, Kimberly Hinojosa (Carlos) of Houston, TX, Lamar Marshall (Becky) of West Monroe, LA; three great grandchildren, Gregory Scharbor, Cherra Hinojosa, Caroline Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m.Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Young’s.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Marable Hill Chapel with Rev. Sam Shepperson and Rev. Ben Wasson officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Memorials may be made to Marrable Hill Chapel, 110 Chapel Ave., El Dorado, AR 71730.
